I’d been looking forward to this day for quite a while, since the Wu Tang Clan would ‘do’ Paradiso.

Method Man only does the first 4 gigs of the tour, which luckily included Amsterdam so the entire clan was there and not just some members.

I called Paradiso to ask what the stagetime was, and they said 9 pm, which seemed hardly likely to me but since we didn’t wanna miss a thing, we were there at 9 sharp. But ofcourse no clan… We had to wait until after 11 before they came on stage.

But from that moment it was on ! They played: Protect Ya Neck, 4th Chamber, WTC Ain’t nothing to fuck with, C.R.E.A.M., Triumph, Shimmy Shimmy Ya, M.E.T.H.O.D. M.A.N. and many others. It was the bomb !
