It was 2 years since my accident and since then I never went snowboarding again. Today was the first day and I was very curious to see how it would go. It went super... I hardly felt my knee and after going down a couple of time without a hitch, it was time to try jumping again...

The freaks come out at night is a saying which everybody knows... Depending on how you define freaks, it's kinda true. Yesterday I went to Club Air with Norman Weber (Luna City Express) who had to play there at the night "Midnight Freaks". We got it around 1, when William Kouam Djoko was doing his live set.

After the last successful edition of Rockit with Michel de Hey we had our hopes up for this edition with Anthony Rother. Unfortunately we had to close area 2 before opening, since there weren't enough tickets sold.

5 Days Off is a 5 day indoor festival in Paradiso and Melkweg. It features a wide range of artists varying from Koze to De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig. I went to the Thursday night in the Melkweg, featuring Ellen Allien, Joris Voorn, Koze, Stephan Bennemann, Isolee and John Roberts.

Some nights are just unexpectedly good; like Joris Voorn's birthday. I didn't expect a full club, but when I arrived there was a huge queue and it was full. It was 1 in, 1 out.

I got out of the train from Berlin around 10 at night. I dropped my bags, freshened up and took a shower. After that it was straight to Paradiso to hear Raresh and Ricardo Villalobos.

Berlin is my favourite city in the world and it has been since I was a kid. That's why I don't mind going at all. This time I planned a trip which was 'work minded' so I didn't plan any parties.

Rockit is an event where I'm (almost) always work. Unfortunately I'm mostly working somewhere out of sight of music/party, so I don't see a lot of it mostly.

I think this was the first time ever that I went out in every weekend of January. Normally I take it a bit slow, but this year I went out a lot already (so it seems). In any way, it was every weekend and yesterday's destination was Melkweg for Traffic.

I broke my resolution of not going out in January in the first weekend after New Years. I ended up going to Studio 80 first for a few drinks to meet Samuel Kindermann (Einmusik).
