Amsterdam Dance Event 2010 – 2

My second day started with attending a panel which featured DJ Monitors owner Yuri Dokter and Chris Groenewegen from Cloud 9. The topic was “Adding value to the dance community”.

Although it wasn’t full, we definetely turned some heads.

More meetings followed before the nightly program started again. I started in Studio 80 to visit the Moon Harbour crew to find out the timetable changed and Marco (Resmann) had to play at 5 instead of 1. So I left to visit the Kompakt night at the Sugar Factory where I saw a nice live set by Matthias Aguayo.

Then it was on to the Melkweg where Joost van Bellen organised his last edition of Rauw (it’s moving to Trouw). Boys Noize was rocking hard in the main room and people were actually crowd surfing. In the Old hall it was Aeroplane on decks accompanied by a bikini dancer, who used elements of some cool (well known) tracks to mix. Very nice.

After that it was back to Studio 80 for Moon Harbour, where Matthias Tanzmann was playing in a warm, pumping studio. Marco Resmann continued his flow where the people danced until the morning. I left around 6 due to a heavy day program but it was a good musical night.
